anyway i've had this song stuck in my head for days.... Sorrento moon
and it was bugging me so much i had to go and buy a CD. couldn't find the one i wanted so i got a greatest hits album...
and i gotta say i still love it!! i was also reintroduced to this little gem "now i can dance" keep an eye out for Charo in the clip

Mum and I watched YTT. I should have told her that was the reason I 'turned' gay. lol
Watching the show I would look at Johnny Bowels and think "is he gay" or whatever that meant to me as a 10ish y.o boy. Years later and after I had received my "big poof certificate" I ran into him at The Albury Hotel and he still looked the same and as camp with that big smile of his. Whatever happened to him?
Correction: his surname is Bowles and he has his own website for all those fans.
